 First we must enter you into the portal. This portal is used by your brand team to track all COIs regardless if you sign with Rikor or not. Please submit the following form to get started.

  1. Select your brand
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Confirm your identity with the verification # in your email
  4. Complete your form
  5. Press “Get Started!”

This will initiate our team to create your portal page. This page can be accessed at any time be you or the franchisor. After you have completed this form, you can schedule a Discovery Call with a consultant to talk more about insurance if you choose.

We do take our speed seriously, but if you are renewing your policy, this takes 45 days, generally, and we do recommend beginning on time when you are contacted via email. Please check spam. 

WHAT’S NEXT?

You’ll receive an email and text shortly to schedule a ‘Discovery Call.’ This is our preferred method of communication. Direct phone calls to the consultant are not recommended due to call volume constraints. Post ‘Discovery Call’ you may need to provide additional missing information (Missing driver, missing VIN, Physical Location, etc).

 

Franchisees partner with us because we keep the insurance purchasing process simple. Our goal is to make it simple and transparent. 

During our discovery call our dedicated franchise brand consultants will get to know you, and your needs. What they won't be doing is asking you a whole lot of questions about your business, what it is, what you do etc. Our partnership with the franchise brand makes this possible.

You’ll receive all communication moving forward via email. Rikor sends periodic updates and requests via automated systems. It’s important to check your inbox and spam. The emails will always include instructions and calls to action. These are sent on behalf of your Franchise, Rikor is the Preferred Broker.

How do I get quick support?

The best way to support you is by sending an email or scheduling a call or text to your consultant directly. You’ll recieve an email with your consultant's Calendy link (Calender), allowing you to book time together.

 

What is the process for paying for my policies?

When putting the policies in place, we will gather payment information from you. Depending on the policy, we will:

• Set you up on installments using the information provided.

• Pay the policy in full.

• Establish a financing plan.

 

What guidelines should I use when looking at driving records for hiring new drivers?

• No drivers younger than 18 years old.

• For drivers 18-21 years old, perfectly clean driving record.

• For drivers 21-25 years old, no more than 1 minor violation in the last 3 years.

• For drivers 25+ years old.

• No more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years (minor speeding, traffic violation, etc.).

• No major violations in the last 3 years (DUI, DWI, Speeding 20+ over the speed limit, reckless driving, etc.).

• No suspended licenses.

• Please note that it is your responsibility to pull driving records before submitting driver requests to us.

 

Where do I go to get certificates of insurance? What is the processing timeline?

Send any requests to support@rikor.io Please allow up to 24 hours (weekdays) for certificates to be processed. Often, certificates will be back to you within 2 hours.

 

What information is needed when requesting certificates for specific 3rd parties?

Please include in your request the full name of the entity, the mailing address, and any specific insurance requirements (additional insured, waiver of subrogation, etc.)

 

I have a potential claim. What do I do?

Go to https://www.protectmyfranchise.com/faq and complete the requested information. An adjuster will reach out to you for further information within 24 hours. If medical treatment is necessary, seek help as needed and save all receipts.

 

I need to make a change to my policy. How do I do that?

Send any requests to support@rikor.io with the necessary information.

Vehicle: Year, Make, Model, and VIN.

Driver: Full name, date of birth, driver's license number and state.
