This page is for franchisor teams. It shows what a franchisee gets when they're insured through Rikor, from their first quote through every renewal, so you can explain it to your franchisees with confidence.

Why it matters to your brand

A franchisee insured through Rikor has coverage built to your brand's requirements from day one, and a consultant who keeps it that way as the business grows. With monitoring on, franchisees insured through Rikor are 93.3% compliant, against 48% for franchisees insured elsewhere. About 89% of new franchisees choose Rikor when they're introduced to us. None are required to.

Getting insured

  • Apply through your brand's link. The franchisee opens your brand's Rikor link from your onboarding, confirms their email with a six-digit code and fills in a short application. Your brand's requirements are already built in, so we don't ask them to explain your business model.
  • A dedicated consultant. They can book a discovery call with their Rikor consultant to ask questions and review their options.
  • Quoted to your requirements. Rikor takes their insurance to market and walks them through the options. Most quotes are done in about 7 business days.
  • Insured before they open. Once they're insured, their certificate goes into the RMS and you see the location as compliant.

Through the year

  • Service. Certificates, policy changes and questions go to support@rikor.io, or call or text 844-616-9663 (Mountain time, 9:00 to 5:00).
  • Audits. Their consultant reviews revenue, payroll and subcontractor costs during the year so an audit doesn't arrive as a surprise bill.

At renewal

Rikor starts each renewal 90 days before the policy expires. We review revenue, payroll, subcontractor costs, vehicles and drivers, check the coverage against your requirements, and take it to market when that gets a better result.

If a franchisee keeps their own agent

They're monitored like everyone else: their certificate is checked against your requirements and they get reminders when something is missing, short or about to lapse. If they keep falling short, their Rikor consultant can quote coverage that meets your requirements.

How to make sure every franchisee gets this

Put your brand's Rikor link in your franchisee onboarding, so every new franchisee sees it about three weeks before their loan closes, their lease is signed or their doors open. See Add Rikor to your franchisee onboarding.
