Rikor is an insurance agency for franchise businesses. If you're opening a franchise or shopping your coverage, you can start a quote online in about 3 minutes. Rikor already knows many brands' insurance requirements, so your quote is built around what your franchise agreement asks for.
Before you start, have:
- Your business name, address and the email you use for the business. You confirm the email with a code we send you.
- Rough numbers: employees, any vehicles used for the business, equipment you take to jobs, and whether you hire subcontractors.
- Your current policies, if you already have insurance.
Step 1. Find your brand
If your brand gave you a Rikor link in your onboarding, use it and skip to Step 2. Otherwise, go to app.rikor.io/quote and type your franchise brand into Search for your brand…. Click your brand's card to open its application.
Step 2. Fill in your brand's application
Your brand's page opens. Click Get Started.
The application asks about your business one question at a time: who you are, where you operate, when you need coverage, employees and drivers, vehicles, equipment, subcontractors, and who needs proof of your insurance (for example your landlord or lender). You can upload your current policies if you have them. If you stop partway, we email you a link to continue.
Step 3. Book a call with your consultant
At the end you'll see You're ready to schedule a discovery call and your brand's coverage requirements. Click Schedule call to get started and pick a time. On the call, your dedicated consultant goes over your coverage and next steps for your quote.
Brand not listed?
If your brand doesn't come up in the search, click Don't see your brand? Book a quick call, then Book a call (15 minutes). We'll map your coverage needs with you on the call.
You can also book a call any time at protectmyfranchise.com/schedule-a-call-gate. That works for franchisors too, and for anyone with a question that doesn't fit the application.
Good to know
- Which coverage? Ask for whatever your business needs, such as general liability, workers compensation, commercial auto or property. Your consultant checks the quote against your brand's requirements.
- Your state and type of business. Coverage options depend on your state and what your business does. Rikor will confirm what we can offer for you on the call.
- Already insured? If your franchisor asks you to upload a certificate to the RMS, you don't need a quote to do that. See How to upload a COI.
